Dave Harrigan has invested 20 years of traveling the mountains and high plains throughout the Rockies to successfully link buyers and sellers of quality hunting and fishing properties through Harrigan Land Company. "I love every part of the recreational ranch real estate business," Dave says. "I love locating and evaluating hard-to-find recreational ranches, negotiating deals with buyers and sellers, and all the interesting and challenging due-diligence tasks involved with each transaction."
Dave's extensive experience in the Rockies, matched with integrity and an honest down-home friendliness, have been key to the success of the many real estate transactions he has brokered.
"Dave is a fair, reasonable, honest, hardworking, and understanding realtor. He listens to what you are looking for, and then he works hard to find it. Dave has high moral standards, a strong work ethic, and solid and strong business ethics and principles."
Mike Dugan, CEO and President, Echostar Satellite Services, L.L.C.
A passion for the outdoors runs deep in Dave's background. He was raised hunting and fishing in Oklahoma, and he graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1984. After enjoying time as a professional baseball catcher in the Philadelphia Phillies and Chicago Cubs organizations, Dave co-founded the Rocky Mountain Angling Club with Don Hart in 1992, and was responsible for leasing over 70 fly fishing properties in Colorado and Wyoming. In 1995, Dave took time off from a busy work schedule to capture Top Rod Honors at Trout Unlimited's prestigious Super Fly Tournament in Gunnison.
Today, Dave lives in the foothills of Colorado with his wife Dixie and Border Collie, Griffey. Whenever he can, Dave grabs his fly rod or bow and heads for the high country. The call of a bugling elk or the subtle rise of a big brown renews his love for all things outdoors and fuels his desire to help those of kindred spirit to fulfill their Rocky Mountain dreams, too. Whether you're looking to find or sell your special piece of the Rockies, or just talk with someone who shares your love of hunting, fishing and the great outdoors, Dave is eager to have a friendly conversation with you.

Hunter Harrigan, Dave's son, joined Hunter Land Company in 2006. With a degree in Business Management from Southern Illinois University, Hunter brings solid business skills and his own love for the outdoors to Harrigan Land Company. Born and raised in Colorado, Hunter grew up at home in the outdoors through fishing, bow hunting, skiing and camping.
Baseball also runs in the Harrigan blood, and Hunter formerly played ball in the Texas Rangers' organization. Today, Hunter and his wife Laura are putting down roots in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. "My ideal day off," Hunter says, "would be sitting on a high mountain ridge during archery elk season and watching the sun slowly expose what we refer to as God's Country."
Hunter's business skills and outdoor experience serve his clients well. If you're seeking to find your own haven in the Rocky Mountain high country, Hunter is ready to assist. "I'd love to have the opportunity to work for you," he says, and backs up the offer with both a hardworking dedication to his clients and an abiding passion for the Rocky Mountain outdoors.
